Bolter Troubleshooting Course
Cost $950.00 ex gst
Duration 8 hours = 1 Day Delivered at Toronto or onsite
Maximum of 4 Students per group
Upon successful completion students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
APT’s Hydraulic Bolter training is designed to give participants a thorough working knowledge of the HCW 11144 or Joy ICM3 hydraulic valve bank. Our Toronto training facility is the perfect environment for participants to get up-close and personal with hydraulic bolting equipment in safe, controlled, non-production surroundings.
Your 1 day Specialist Hydraulic Bolter Training begins with Safety Awareness specific to working on and around bolters and valve control banks. We will recap hydraulic principles including pumps and load sensing as well as familiarise you with component identification and function. We explore each component individually and look at its purpose and effect in the system.
We’ll bring the Bolter schematic to life using our circuit simulation software which we use for all of our fluid power training. Watching the automated system accelerates your learning experience and bridges the gap between the theory and practice you will complete.
In your practical session we will trouble shoot 10 real world faults which will reinforce the importance of equipment familiarity and contamination control.
• Recap on fluid power safety, hydraulic principles, pumps, load sense
• Safety while working on/around bolters and control banks
• Valvebank component identification
• Contamination control and why it matters to bolter controls
• Operation of each function of the valvebank
• Troubleshooting techniques
• Using the troubleshooting toolkit
• Minimum of 10 practical faults to troubleshoot and repair
• Detailed analysis of the faults using software simulation
How we work
APT provide flexible training and an ongoing framework to build-on or formalise your existing skills and knowledge. In our courses, the use of advanced simulation and real world practices ensure optimal outcomes.
APT deliver training in a friendly, relaxed and comfortable learning and assessment environment. You can be assured that it’s to the best of our ability to support any special needs/requirements you may have with your learning.
Training and assessment is usually completed at the APT Training Centre at Toronto NSW, however the course can be delivered at your own workplace if a full class is enrolled.
In such circumstances we bring the complete service to you including training simulations and fluid power equipment.
Your trainer and assessor will clearly explain the assessment process to you and support you where necessary to ensure you have a full understanding of the process prior to commencing.
Some methods used to assess your competence include written questionnaires, verbal questions, third party reports, self assessment, log books or work journals, verified CV, workbook activities and certificate recognition of prior learning.
Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
